Southampton Welcomes Success

Dozens of new ambassadors for Southampton gathered to celebrate their successful completion of the Southampton Welcomes training programme which was run by Tourism South East and funded by ESF and the LSC.

They were handed certificates at a special reception attended by the Sheriff of Southampton, Councillor Brian Parnell.

A total of 240 people completed the programme which was aimed at helping local businesses benefit from the increasing number of cruise ships that come through the port. Visit the Welcome to Excellence website
